Bailey continues fine run of form at Event 10

James Bailey claimed his 4th DPA Pro Tour Event of the year with a win over Mick Lacey in the final of Event 10 in East Devonport.

Bailey had to come through 6 matches to claim the title with wins over Colby Dodge, Hayden Scott, Jamie Rundle, Lucas Cameron, Raymond Smith and of course Lacey in the decider with 3 averages of 90 in his remaining 3 matches and a tournament average of 88.8.

Lacey, a semi finalist in Event 9, went a match further with wins over Greg Walsh, Dale Burton-Pye, Steve Fitzpatrick, Tim Pusey, Raymond O’Donnell but unable to claim the decider against Bailey but a positive start to the weekend.

It was another early exit for Damon Heta, who is top of the DPA order of merit going into the 3rd weekend this year having won 3 events so far this year and Event 9 winner Gordon Mathers departed in the last 16 and finalist Ben Robb departed in the quarter finals.
