Labanauskas beats Laursen to win PDCNB Tour event 10

Darius Labanauskas beat Per Laursen 6-2 to claim the title in event 10 of the PDC Baltic and Nordic tour.

Lucky “D” was the dominant force throughout the competition to claim the title.

Labanauskus pulled away in the final following the first two legs being shared.

A spell of four in a row midway through the match to lead 5-1 ultimately put pay to the Dane’s chances of winning.

Despite putting up a resistance it was short lived as the Lithuanian ran towards the finishing line, claiming the title with an average of 87.8 compared to Laursen’s 87.4.

Labanauskas powered his way into the final with a 103 average to beat Marko Kantele 6-2, who himself averaged north of 90.

The Lithuanian won the first three legs of the match to take control before the remaining legs were equally split seeing Lucky “D” over the line.

Laursen got the better of Latvian Madars Razma in his semi-final. In a low scoring affair where both players averaged in the 70’s, the Denmark World Cup of Darts star won through 6-3.

Results:

D.Labanauskas 6-2 P.Laursen

Semi-final:
