Sherrock to appear on A Question of Sport after rising to stardom
Fallon Sherrock‘s appearance on A Question of Sport will be aired this coming Friday after the global sensation made a guest appearance prior to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Sherrock rose to stardom after becoming the first woman to surpass the first round of the World Championship in December, and excelled the sport to heights it hadn’t previously reached.
The 25-year-old overcame both Ted Evetts and former World Matchplay finalist Mensur Suljovic at the Alexandra Palace during a dream festive period, and has since reaped the rewards from proposed trips worldwide to appearances on global television.
After failing to secure her professional tour card at Qualifying School in January, Sherrock made her Premier League debut as a Challenger and qualified for the prestigious UK Open whilst coming through a field of over 200 players.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic temporarily scuppering her appearances on the World Series of Darts circuit across the globe, Sherrock has competed in the innovative Modus Icons of Darts Live League.
She recorded a broadcast record average for a female thrower last week and claimed her maiden triumph from her Milton Keynes residence, just days after receiving some horrendous social media abuse.
Prior to the stretch spent shielding from coronavirus, the ‘Queen of the Palace’ appeared on BBC One’s A Question of Sport, with the episode being aired on Friday from 7.30pm.

Sherrock will feature alongside team captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell, as well as fellow sporting stars, including Swedish footballer Jonas Olsson, swimmer Fran Halsall and athlete Harry Aikines-Aryteesy.
Sherrock’s guest appearance comes following reigning world champion Peter Wright making his debut on the long-serving sport-focussed gameshow in April.
