Description

Welcome to issue 20 of the magazine, and it’s certainly been a busy month of darts.

Crowds made a more than welcome return to the darts in Austria for the World Series of Darts Finals in Salzburg, which was a roaring success. The tournament itself was full of close matches, with Gerwyn Price making it a hat trick of TV titles. This followed on from his double success in the Autumn Series in Germany, which saw our cover star, Damon Heta, pick up his maiden PDC ranking event. The Development Tour saw the further emergence of Irish talent, Keane Barry, who secured both a World Championship place and a two year PDC Tour Card.

In this issue, we speak to Kirsty Hutchinson and Casey Gallagher, who give us an insight into their 2020, and preparations for the groundbreaking PDC Women’s Series, which takes place this month.

Andrew Sinclair chats to the one and only Steve Beaton, who talks career longevity, and his famous BDO World Championship win, and he also catches up with UKDA Chairman, Colin Savage, for the latest on the plans for the amateur code.

Ben Hudd talks to Adrian Gray, who regained his Tour Card in 2019 after a five-year absence.

Darts is going in the right direction during the Pandemic, but as we went to press, both Adrian Lewis and Stephen Bunting were forced to withdraw from the BoyleSports World Grand Prix in Coventry due to positive COVID-19 tests, so we certainly still have to apply caution.

Stay safe, and keep enjoying the darts!
