Watch: Arron Monk hits nine-darter during Modus Icons of Darts Live League

Arron Monk completed the first ever Modus Icons of Darts Live League nine-darter on Wednesday afternoon.

Monk, 30, struck perfection during his Group Three encounter with his fellow former world youth champion James Hubbard.

The Andover-based thrower pinned back-to-back maximums before proceeding to finish with the renowned 141 outshot.

Monk recorded a scintillating 108.34 average against Hubbard, with both of his two 180s coming in the culminating leg, in which he nailed the nine.

He topped Group Three with subsequent wins over Diogo Portela, Andy Jenkins and Adam Huckvale.

The Modus Icons of Darts Live League is streamed daily via a number of bookmakers’ websites and dartshop.tv.
